Our First Time Hosting at Firefly Hills

Fulltime Families Gathering May 7-15, 2023

Even though we are still in the construction phase of our park, we are already working on creating a sense of community.

We recently had the privilege of hosting 11 full time RVing families for the "Fulltime Families Red River Gorge Hangout."  We circled the rigs and enjoyed spending the week making new friends, exploring the Gorge area and relaxing and playing at the RV park.

As families, we hiked some trails in the Red River Gorge and experienced underground kayaking at Gorge Underground. The dad's enjoyed getting very muddy renting ATV's at Hollerwood Park. The mom's enjoyed an amazing dinner at Red Point BBQ and learning all things chocolate at the Chocolat Inn for a taste testing session. 

We stocked up on fresh food and purchased a few things from local artisans and farmers at the Slade Farmers Market.  At the RV Park, we facilitated Fireside Chats, a potluck, the kids made fresh lemonade and had fun at the impromptu dance party.   Dr. Shira came to lead a parent/child yoga session and offered massage sessions. 

Everyone had such an amazing time they requested we host another hangout event in the fall.  We will be hosting a Dia De Los Muertos hangout through Fulltime Families again Oct. 29 - Nov. 5. The following week we will be hosting a teen Bushcraft Camp with our friends at Montana Hybrid Academy.

This is an example of what we hope to bring to you in the future.  Programming that is inclusive, builds community and offers homesteading opportunities.  We hope to see you in the future at Firefly HIlls RV and Glamping Park.
