The owners of Firefly Hills, Troy & Tonja, live full-time in their RV traveling. They realized after a while that they were missing some things from their previous sticks and bricks life. Things such as a consistent community of friends for their son and themselves, being able to grow and raise their own food, and having a place to do repairs or annual maintenance on their vehicles, rig, or even just bikes.
From their years on the road, they came to realize that they were not alone in this feeling. Many of their traveling friends that they had met, seemed to long for the same missing elements.
While attempting to satisfy these needs, they had difficulty locating camping options that offered one or more of these elements. Therefore, they decided, if people are looking for this and cannot find it, they should build it!
That’s what they are doing, they have built an RV and Glamping Park catering to full-time travelers who are looking for an inclusive and welcoming community, a stocked maintenance shop and homesteading opportunities for the whole family.
Firefly Hills Membership Plan Includes:
Your Own RV Site
Includes water, sewer, metered electric, and high speed Wi-Fi. Each membership RV site has their own casita building with 12’ x 16’ of indoor space, a 12’ x 6’ covered front porch, and a 4’ x 12’ lockable storage space at the rear.
Maintenance Shop
Use our tools and plan for renovations, upgrades, or regular maintenance in our enclosed maintenance shop with bays large enough to accommodate your big rig.
Farmhouse
Access to all of the house amenities including: a full kitchen, co-working parlor space, deck with a hot tub and grill.
Revenue Share
A place to call your own that recoups some of your investment when you are not here. You can stay for as long as you want. When you are away exploring other locations, we will rent out your site and split the revenue with you. You will receive 60% and we will receive 40% to manage the reservation. Income earned will be paid out quarterly.
RV Storage
A place to store the RV while you travel in other ways. You will get 14 days of free RV storage per contract year. Any additional days will be billed at the standard rate.
Discounts
Meet up with your non-RVing friends and family. They can stay in the farmhouse or the glamping tents. Your friends and family will receive a discount of 10%.
Get discounted rates when you stay in the farmhouse or the glamping tents. This is a great option when you are renovating or fixing your RV and need a place to stay. You get (2) one week periods of discounted stays.
